Sweet mouses - Spoon doughnuts

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 3 g yeast - fresh or dry
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 5 g sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 250 ml lukewarm milk
  • sugar powder
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Sift the flour into a higher bawl. Add all other ingredients except milk.
  • Than add activated yeast and make dough by adding lukewarm milk.
  • Mix the dough with big wooden spoon to become soft with bubbles. You can add more milk if needed. The dough should be densely liquid. 
  • Keep aside to rest and rise. After 40 minuets mix again and wait another 20 minuets to rise. 
  • Put the oil on the stove and preheat it. With a spoon make small dumplings directly into hot oil.
