Mashed Potatoes with Milk

An amazing 3 in 1 combo - a dip for croquettes, a tasty garnish or freshly made puree.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 lb potatoes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 3⅓ tbsp milk
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • savory

Instructions

  • Wash and boil the potatoes. Peel them and mash them in a large pot with a slotted spoon. Don't mash them finely, you need to have coarse lumps remaining.
  • Add the butter to the still-warm potatoes and mix.
  • Put the cream in and add spices to taste.
  • These mashed potatoes can be eaten as a side dish or shaped into balls, rolled in eggs and breadcrumbs and then fried.
