Fava with Tomato Sauce

Fava with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 cup water
- 1 cup fava beans
- salt
- pepper
- 1 onion
- olive oil
- capers
- tomato sauce
Instructions
- Over medium heat place a saucepan with the water and bring it to boiling. Add the fava beans, pepper, salt, and a pealed onion, and let it cook for 45 minutes.
- Transfer the fava beans to a bowl in tomato sauce and add the onions, olive oil, and capers.
- Serve with bread and red wine.
