Mashed Potatoes with Onions
- 900 g potatoes
- 150 ml milk
- 8 fresh bunches onions
- 3⅓ tbsp butter
- black pepper
- Bring a large pot with water to boiling and add the potatoes and salt. Boil them least 20 minutes, then peel them while still warm.
- Use a large bowl and mash the potatoes with a fork add butter.
- In a separate small pot bring the milk to boiling. Add the finely chopped fresh onions and let them steam for 5 minutes.
- Pour the milk mixture to t he bowl with potatoes and butter, season with salt and black pepper and mix well.
