Ingredients

  • 3 zucchini
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

For the sauce

  • 1 cup Bulgarian yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 dill
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the zucchini, by washing them cut them into rounds and salt then.
  • Place them into a colander and leave them aside for about ½ hour.
  • Heat up over a medium heat a frying pan with oil.
  • Add some flour to a plate and roll each zucchini piece in and fry it until golden brown.
  • Place the fried zucchini pieces on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
  • Mince the garlic and chop the dill. Mix them with the plain yogurt in a small bowl.
  • Add salt and a 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional).
  • Arrange the zucchini pieces onto a plate and add the sauce on top. Garnish with freshly chopped dill.
