Buckwheat flour is very healthy, gluten-free and delicious too.

  • 180 ml yogurt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 60 g sugar
  • 200 g wheat or buckwheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • sugar powder or honey
  • vegetable oil


  • Make thick liquid dough by mixing all the wet ingredients and then add flour with baking powder. 
  • Make small dumplings with a spoon directly into hot oil.  
  • Preheat a frying pan with oil and fry them untill golden brown.
