Serbian salad is a vegetable salad, popular during the summer and it is made from diced fresh tomatoes, cucumber and onions, usually seasoned with sunflower oil or olive oil. These type of salads are common for the Balkan countries and the Eastern Mediterranean.
- 500 g tomatoes
- 150 g onions
- 200 g cucumbers
- 1 hot pepper
- a bunch of parsley
- 80 g oil
- salt to taste
- Clean the onion into strip or into rings.
- Wash and peel the fresh cucumbers and cut them into rings. Wash and cut into pieces the tomatoes then prepare and cut the peppers into thin strips.
- Combine everything in a bowl and season with salt to taste and oil. Mix carefully to not mashed the tomato pieces.
- Sprinkle finely chopped parsley on top.
